BBS (ISSF) on March 18, the latest statistics show that global stainless steel production in 2013 compared with last year increased by 7.8%, to 38.1 million tons.In addition to the Western Europe/Africa, the rest of the world stainless steel production are recorded. 

Asia (including China) in 2013 stainless steel production rose 0.8% to 8.8 million tons.Conditions in the region, an increase of 5.4% from India to China, a 3.7% reduction in Taiwan, Japan and South Korea were flat.

China's stainless steel production increased by 18% last year, amounted to 19 million tons, China stainless steel production accounted for continued to expand in the world, close to half of the total global stainless steel production.

Western Europe/Africa is the world's second largest stainless steel production area, the region in 2013 stainless steel output fell 4.3% year on year, the amount of 7.5 million tons.But the stainless steel producing countries in the area of the performance difference is very big, increased 5.1% and 4.6% respectively from France and Belgium to the UK and Germany posted a double-digit decline.

America and central and eastern regions in 2013 stainless steel production are recorded positive growth.Production increased by 3.6% in the americas, of 2.5 million tons.Central and eastern Europe area yield increased by 813.6%, but only 400000 tons.
